Policy on the collection, processing and protection of personal data

1. Operator

This Policy is adopted under the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 21 May 2013 No. 94-V On Personal Data and Their Protection (the Law), the Rules for the collection and processing of personal data, and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Purposes and data

The Company processes personal data to the extent needed to handle enquiries and consultations, to enter into and perform contracts, and, where a separate consent is given, for marketing messages and site analytics. The data and the retention period are stated in the consent given when a form is sent or a contract is made.

3. Legal basis

Processing is based on the data subject consent given under Article 8 of the Law. Without consent, processing takes place only in the cases set out in Article 9 of the Law and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Visiting the site is not itself consent.

4. Storage and deletion

Data are stored in a database or digital resource located in the Republic of Kazakhstan until the purpose of processing is achieved, unless a law or the consent sets another period. When the purpose is achieved or consent is withdrawn, the data are destroyed unless the law requires further storage.

5. Disclosure

The Company discloses personal data to third parties only with the data subject consent or where the law requires it. Cross-border transfer follows Article 16 of the Law.

6. Protection

The Company takes the legal, organisational and technical measures needed to protect personal data and has appointed a person responsible for organising that processing.

7. Rights of the data subject

The data subject has the rights provided by the Law, including the right to know about the processing, to require correction or completion, and, if the conditions of collection or processing are breached, to require blocking, anonymisation, destruction or deletion, to withdraw consent, and to challenge the Company before the competent authority or a court. Requests are sent to info@sothebys-realty.kz or to the legal address of the Company and are considered within the time limits set by law.

8. Cookies

The site uses cookies that are necessary for it to work. Google Analytics cookies are used only with the user consent. Google Analytics data are processed by Google LLC in the United States.

9. Changes

The current edition of the Policy is published on the site and takes effect on the date of publication.
